We’re Walter and Gerbrich (goes by Gerb), two Dutchies who work a seasonal job in summer. Our restaurant closes for 6 months each year, which gives us the opportunity to travel a lot. We’ve been doing this for a little over 10 years now, and we found it’s about time to share some of the things we learned on the way.
Although we’ve done a lot of backpacking by local transport, our favourite means to get around is on two wheels. The scooters and semi’s we’ve been driving around have grown a bit bigger over the years and we now have our own Royal Enfields waiting for us in the garage back home.
We’ve been planning to make a long motorcycle trip from the Netherlands to India. Part of the aim of this website is to collect all the information we find in our preparation and combine it with updates from the road. In the process we also started adding some posts about other places we visited recently.
